Supercal + Zoom Integration Guide
Supercal’s Zoom integration automatically adds unique, secure Zoom meeting links to every event scheduled through Supercal. Once connected, meetings you schedule via Supercal can automatically include Zoom details in the event invite and confirmation emails.
1. Adding the App
Follow these steps to connect your Zoom account to Supercal:
Go to your Supercal account.
Log in at supercal.com and navigate to Settings → Video conferencing links.Select Zoom.
Click Connect Zoom. You’ll be redirected to the Zoom authorization page.Authorize access.
Sign in to your Zoom account (if not already signed in) and review the requested permissions. Click Allow to complete the connection.Confirmation.
You’ll be redirected back to Supercal, where you’ll see a confirmation message once your Zoom account is connected, indicated by the account email id listed next to the Zoom option as well as a "Disconnect" option.
If your zoom is connected and selected as the video conferencing link or meeting location, all new meetings scheduled through Supercal for which Zoom was selected as the meeting location will automatically include a unique Zoom link generated by your Zoom account.
Troubleshooting Tip:
If you see a “Failed to connect”, “Invalid redirect URL”, or “App not pre-approved” message:
First, select the "Try again" button to reattempt connecting your Zoom account
Ensure you’re signed in with the correct Zoom account.
Check that your Zoom admin has pre-approved Supercal in the Zoom App Marketplace.
Disconnect and reconnect the app from Supercal’s settings if needed.
2. Usage
How It Works
When a meeting is booked through Supercal (via booking link or manual scheduling for which Zoom is indicated as the meeting location):
Supercal uses your connected Zoom account to create a unique meeting link.
The Zoom details are automatically added to:
The calendar event description.
The confirmation email sent to attendees.
If a meeting time is changed, Supercal will automatically update the Zoom meeting details.
Use Cases
Meeting links: If Zoom is connected and selected in the Video conferencing links on the settings tab, it will automatically be added to any meeting booked through meeting links for which the "Location" field is set to "Default" in that links settings. If a link is not using the "Default" location, you can still set the link to use Zoom by selecting the "Zoom" button.
Email based scheduling: If Zoom is connected and selected in the Video conferencing links on the settings tab, it will automatically be added to any meeting that is scheduled via our email scheduling assistant, alex@supercal.com, or the website email based group/1-1 scheduling functionality.
