How to provide calendar access to Supercal
Step-by-step instructions for granting Google or Outlook calendar access so Supercal can schedule meetings for you.
Why calendar access is required
Supercal uses your calendar to check availability and automatically book meetings.
Without this access, booking links and scheduling won’t work.
Connecting a Google Calendar
Click “Continue with Google” on the Supercal login page.
Choose your Google account you’d like to connect.
If prompted, sign into your Google account.
On the permissions screen, check the box for “View and edit events on all your calendars.”
Make sure the box is selected (this is required).
Click “Continue” to finish login.
You’ll return to Supercal with your calendar connected.
Troubleshooting:
If you don’t see the permissions screen, log out of Google and try again.
If you accidentally denied access, go to your Google Account → Security → Third-party access → remove Supercal, then sign in again.
Connecting an Outlook Calendar
Click “Continue with Microsoft” on the Supercal login page.
Sign into your Microsoft account (work, school, or personal).
On the permissions screen, grant access to “Read and write your calendars.”
This permission is required for Supercal to schedule on your behalf.
Accept to complete the connection.
You’ll return to Supercal with your calendar connected.
Troubleshooting:
If you see an error, ensure you’re using the correct Outlook/Microsoft account.
If permissions were denied, go to Microsoft Account → Privacy → App Permissions → remove Supercal, then reconnect.
